How to Disable Specific 3D Particles Without Removing the Mod
Why Disable Instead of Uninstall
Some players love the 3D block breaking cubes but find the weather particles distracting, or vice versa. Fancy Block Particles Renewed lets you switch off individual particle categories. When a category is disabled, the mod stops overriding it and Minecraft's normal particles are used instead, so nothing looks broken or missing.
Step-by-Step
1. Open the mod config from the mod list screen.
2. Locate the category you want to remove, for example rain, snow, block place, or block break.
3. Toggle that category off. Leave the others enabled.
4. Save or close the config. Most changes take effect right away; if a category still shows 3D particles, leave and re-enter the world.
Common Combinations
- Keep block breaking on, disable weather, if rain particles hurt visibility during combat.
- Keep weather on, disable block placing, if the placement animation feels too busy while building.
- Disable everything except snow if you only want the snowy ground effect.
Because the mod is client-side, these choices are personal and do not need to match what other players on a server see.
