Understand What FalsePatternLib Does and Doesn't Do
What FalsePatternLib Provides
FalsePatternLib is a backend utility library for mod developers. It supplies:
- Shared code structures used by multiple mods
- Common functions to reduce code duplication
- Core tools for mod initialization and compatibility
- Lightweight utilities that keep dependent mods smaller
As a player, you won't interact with these tools directly — they work invisibly.
What FalsePatternLib Does NOT Do
This mod:
- Does not add new blocks, items, or mobs
- Does not change vanilla gameplay
- Does not create new dimensions or biomes
- Does not add recipes or crafting mechanics
- Does not require configuration
Why You Need It
If you install mods built on FalsePatternLib, this library must be present for them to function. Without it, dependent mods will fail to load. Think of it as a foundation — the visible mods are built on top of it, but you only see the mods themselves.
Always install FalsePatternLib when a mod lists it as a required dependency.
