Troubleshoot Hearts Not Changing Appearance

Common Issues and Solutions

Pack Not Activating

Verify the pack is in your active resource packs list:

1. Open Settings → Resource Packs

2. Confirm False Hardcore Heart appears in the active column (right side)

3. If it's in the inactive list, drag it to active

4. Close and reopen your world

Hearts Still Look Default

Check your resource pack priority. If another pack is loaded after False Hardcore Heart, it may override the textures:

• Move False Hardcore Heart to the top of your active packs list
• Reload your world

Partial Changes Only

Some heart types may not update if conflicting packs are active. Disable other texture packs temporarily to isolate the issue.

Server-Specific Problems

On multiplayer servers, resource packs sometimes need reloading:

1. Disconnect from the server

2. Reload your resource packs in Settings

3. Rejoin the server

If hearts remain unchanged after these steps, the server may have its own resource pack that overrides yours.
