Customize Wind Direction and Leaf Fall Speed
Access the Configuration File
Locate the mod's configuration file in your .minecraft/config folder. Look for the Falling Leaves Plus settings file (typically a .toml or .json file). Open it with a text editor.
Adjust Wind Parameters
Find the wind direction settings. You can modify the primary wind direction vector to make leaves fall predominantly toward a specific compass direction. Increase wind strength values to make particles drift further horizontally before landing.
Control Particle Density
Look for particle spawn rate or density multipliers. Lowering this value reduces the number of leaves falling at once, which helps if you experience performance issues. Increasing it creates a more dramatic, forest-like effect during storms.
Fine-Tune Fall Speed
Adjust the gravity or fall speed modifier to make leaves descend faster or slower. Lower values create a more graceful, drifting effect; higher values make leaves drop more quickly to the ground.
Save and Test
Save your configuration file and reload your world or restart the game. Changes take effect immediately. Test in different biomes and weather conditions to see how your settings feel.
