Using the Fake Date Mod

Changing the In-Game Date

The Fake Date Mod lets you override the game's date without touching your computer's clock. This is useful for triggering holiday events on demand or suppressing them entirely.

Open config/fakedate.toml and set the fake year, month, and day. Setting the value to 0 disables the fake date, so the game uses your real system time again.

To play a holiday event, set the date to match that holiday. To hide holiday changes from other mods, set a normal, non-holiday date instead.

A filter option controls which mods see the fake date, so you can target specific mods rather than applying it everywhere. Debug messages can be enabled to log whether the game is currently using the fake or real date.

The mod works on either the client or the server alone, so you can use it in singleplayer or on a server without installing it on both sides.
