Customize Your UI with Dark Mode

What the dark mode add-on does

Faithful 32x Modded includes an optional dark mode variant that darkens menus, GUIs, and interface elements. This is especially useful when playing with mods that add complex machines with bright default interfaces—dark mode reduces eye strain during long crafting sessions.

Enabling dark mode

1. Download the dark mode add-on (packaged separately from the main resource pack)

2. Place it in your resourcepacks folder alongside the main Faithful 32x Modded pack

3. Open Options > Resource Packs and activate both packs

4. Order matters: place dark mode *below* the main pack in the active list

5. Restart your world or press F3+T to reload

6. Open any modded machine GUI—menus should now have darker backgrounds

Customizing further

If dark mode feels too dark or too light, you can adjust individual texture files, but this requires unpacking the resource pack. For most players, the default dark mode setting works well with tech mods like Mekanism and Thermal Expansion.
