Keeping Your Wings in Flight

Fairy wings use the same durability system as standard elytra. As you glide and fly, your wings gradually wear down and will eventually need repair.

Repairing at an Anvil

1. Locate or craft an anvil

2. Place your damaged fairy wings in the anvil's input slot

3. Add phantom membranes (the standard repair material for elytra) to the second slot

4. Confirm the repair—your wings will regain durability

Durability Management

Each flight session consumes durability based on how long and how intensely you glide. To extend the life of your wings:

• Minimize unnecessary gliding when not needed
• Use fireworks to boost flight efficiency (this reduces durability drain per distance traveled)
• Keep spare phantom membranes in your inventory for quick repairs

Visual Durability

The resource pack maintains the fairy wing appearance throughout the repair process. Damaged wings may show wear, but once repaired, they'll shimmer with full opalescent beauty again.
