Adjust Shader Brightness and Contrast for Your Playstyle
Access Shader Settings
Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the designated shader menu key (typically found in your controls settings). Look for the Faded Summer Memories shader in your active shader list and select its configuration panel.
Customize Visual Parameters
The shader offers adjustable sliders for brightness, contrast, and saturation. If you find the warm tones too intense during midday, reduce saturation slightly. For players who prefer brighter exploration, increase the brightness slider—this works especially well in caves where the softened shadows can otherwise feel dim.
Fine-Tune Shadow Softness
Locate the shadow softness or ambient occlusion settings. The default configuration softens shadows to maintain visibility, but you can adjust this if you want more dramatic lighting contrast or prefer even gentler shadows for a dreamier appearance.
Test Your Changes
Move between different biomes and times of day to see how your adjustments affect the overall look. Open fields at sunrise and water bodies at noon are good test areas. Save your preferred settings once you find the balance that feels right for your playstyle.
