Dye and Customize Furniture Pieces
Preparing Your Dyes
Before customizing furniture, gather dye colors from vanilla Minecraft sources. All 16 vanilla dye colors are supported—obtain them through crafting, farming, or mob drops as normal.
Applying Color to Furniture
Place your furniture block in the world. Hold a dye in your hand and interact with the furniture piece. The block will change to match that dye color. You can recolor the same piece multiple times by applying different dyes.
Matching Sets
To create a cohesive room design, plan your color scheme before dyeing. Consider which dyes complement your building materials—for example, light gray dyes work well with stone, while darker shades suit wooden interiors. You can dye chairs, tables, cabinets, and most decorative blocks individually, allowing you to mix and match colors across a single furniture set.
Undoing Color Changes
If you make a mistake, simply apply a different dye to overwrite the previous color. There is no penalty for recoloring, so experiment freely to find the perfect palette for your space.
