Using Fabric Seasons Delight Compat with Cultural and Expanded Delights

What the Compat Covers

This mod does not only affect base Farmer's Delight crops. It also extends seasonal growth behavior to crops added by Cultural Delights and Expanded Delights. That means if you have those add-ons installed, their plants will also speed up or slow down with the seasons, so you cannot treat them as season-immune shortcuts.

Getting the Add-On Crops Right

1. Confirm all three mods are present together. The seasonal behavior only applies to add-on crops when this compat mod is loaded alongside them.

2. Identify which add-on crops you actually use. Cultural Delights focuses on regional and specialty produce, while Expanded Delights broadens the crop roster. Check each one's growth in your test plot the same way you would for base crops.

3. Group your plantings by expected season. Put add-on crops that share a preferred season in the same area so you can water, harvest, and replant them together.

4. Watch for crops that behave unusually. Because add-on crops were designed without seasons in mind, some may feel very slow in certain seasons. If one is critical to your cooking, grow extra during its good season and preserve it.

5. Recheck after any mod update, since seasonal tuning can shift.

Treating add-on crops as part of the same seasonal rotation keeps your kitchen stocked year-round.
