Export server metrics to Grafana for custom dashboards

Add Prometheus as a data source in Grafana

Grafana lets you create beautiful, custom dashboards from your Fabric Exporter metrics.

1. Open Grafana (default: http://localhost:3000)

2. Log in and go to Configuration → Data Sources

3. Click Add data source and select Prometheus

4. Set the URL to your Prometheus instance (e.g., http://localhost:9090)

5. Click Save & Test to verify the connection

Create a dashboard

1. Go to Dashboards → New Dashboard

2. Click Add Panel

3. In the query editor, select your Prometheus data source

4. Type a metric name from Fabric Exporter (e.g., player count or TPS)

5. Customize the visualization type (graph, gauge, stat) using the right panel

6. Add more panels for different metrics

7. Save your dashboard

You now have a real-time monitoring dashboard for your server. Grafana also supports alerts, so you can be notified if metrics exceed thresholds.
