How to Find and Catch Custom Fabled Creatures in the Wild

Locating Custom Creatures

Fabled creatures spawn naturally throughout your world just like standard Cobblemon monsters. They appear in biomes and regions matching their original fan-game origins. For example, Sage starters appear in grassy areas, while Vega creatures may favor specific terrain types.

Catching Tips

Use standard Cobblemon catching mechanics—weaken the creature with status moves or damage, then throw Poké Balls. Custom creatures follow the same catch rates as their inspiration sources.

If you're having trouble finding specific creatures, check which fan-game they originate from (Uranium, Sage, Vega, etc.) and explore biomes that match that game's regional settings.

Viewing 3D Models vs Sprites

All fully modeled custom creatures display in 3D during encounters and in your party. If you see only 2D billboard sprites for certain creatures, they haven't been given 3D models yet. You can disable all 2D sprites in your mod config by using the not_modeled blacklist label if you prefer to only encounter 3D-modeled creatures.
