Use the Reach Indicator to Land Hits Consistently

Activate the Reach Tracker

Enable the attack reach display in your HUD mod settings. This shows the exact distance your hits can land, helping you understand your effective combat range.

Learn Your Effective Range

The reach indicator displays a number (in blocks) representing how far your attacks extend. Practice positioning yourself at this distance during fights—close enough to hit, but far enough to avoid unnecessary damage.

Adjust Your Positioning

Watch the reach number as you move toward and away from opponents. Use it to maintain optimal distance: close enough to land consistent hits, but with enough space to strafe and dodge incoming attacks.

Combine with Ping Awareness

Remember that network lag affects hit registration. If your ping is high, you may need to position slightly closer than the reach indicator suggests to ensure hits register on your opponent's screen. Use the reach tracker alongside your ping display for better accuracy.
