How to Change the Extract Poison Cooldown in the Config

Finding the Config

The mod stores its settings in a config file generated in your Minecraft config folder after the first launch. Open it with any plain text editor.

Editing the Delay

The value is written in milliseconds. The default is 60000 ms, which equals 60 seconds. To change the cooldown, replace that number with your preferred value:

  • Shorter cooldown = more poison per mob over time, but easier farming.
  • Longer cooldown = slower, more balanced harvesting.

Remember the conversion: 1000 ms = 1 second. So a 30-second cooldown would be 30000, and a 2-minute cooldown would be 120000. Do not add units or commas — just the number.

Applying Changes

Save the file and restart Minecraft (or reload the config if your setup supports it). The new delay takes effect for all supported mobs. If you are on a server, the server's config is the one that matters — editing your client copy alone will not change multiplayer behavior.

If extractions still feel wrong after editing, verify you saved the file and that no other mod is overriding the same setting.
