How to Tweak Explosion Particle Effects in the Explosive Enhancement Mod
Finding the Config File
After launching the game once with the mod installed, a config file is generated in your Minecraft config folder. Look for a file named after the mod (something like explosiveenhancement or similar). Open it with any plain text editor. Inside you'll find a list of toggles, each controlling a specific visual element such as smoke plumes, fiery sparks, shockwaves, and underwater bubble effects.
Toggling Individual Effects
Each entry is typically a simple true/false switch. Set a value to false to disable that
particular particle type, or true to keep it on. For example, if you find the shockwave distracting during PvP, turn just that entry off while leaving smoke and sparks enabled. If you want the cleanest possible look, set the master toggle (often labeled as enabling the mod's effects entirely) to false.
Applying Changes
Save the file and either restart Minecraft or, if the mod supports it, use the in-game config reload command or a
mod menu like the one provided by a config library. Changes usually take effect immediately on the next explosion you trigger. Test by igniting a single block of TNT in a safe area and watching which particles appear. Adjust one setting at a time so you can tell exactly which toggle controls which visual, then fine-tune until the explosions look the way you want.
