How to Disable the Explosive Enhancement Mod's Effects Without Uninstalling It

Why Disable Instead of Remove

Sometimes you want vanilla-looking explosions for a build, a redstone contraption, or a PvP session, but you still want the mod available for other worlds. The mod includes config options that let you switch its visuals off entirely without touching your mods folder.

Using the Master Toggle

Open the mod's config file in your config directory with a text editor. Find the top-level or master setting that controls whether the mod's explosion effects are active. Setting this to false reverts explosions to their standard appearance while leaving the mod loaded, so nothing breaks and you can flip it back on later.

Per-Effect Control

If you only want to silence part of the mod, leave the master toggle on and instead disable individual entries such as smoke, sparks, shockwaves, or underwater bubbles. This is useful when one specific effect clashes with another mod or a resource pack. Save the file and reload the game or config. To confirm it worked, ignite a single TNT block in a clear area and compare the result to vanilla. If you later want the enhanced look back, simply set the same values to true again. No reinstallation is ever required.
