Customizing Visual Impact

Camera shake adds drama to explosions, but intense shaking can cause motion sickness or feel overwhelming. The mod lets you fine-tune how much the screen moves based on blast size and your distance.

Steps

1. Open config/explosion-overhaul.json

2. Locate the camera shake settings section

3. Adjust the strength value to make shaking more or less pronounced

4. Modify the radius to control how far away you can be and still feel the effect

5. Change the duration if you want the shake to last longer or end quickly

6. Save and restart your game

Finding Your Balance

Small adjustments make a big difference. Try reducing strength by half first, then test with a TNT explosion. If it still feels too intense, lower the radius so only nearby blasts affect you. You can always increase values if explosions feel too subtle.
