Ensure Legitimate Server Features Still Work

Exploit Preventer is selective—it only blocks malicious exploits, not normal server functionality. Legitimate features continue to work perfectly:

• Server plugins that require client communication
• Custom resource packs that enhance gameplay
• Scoreboard displays and chat features
• Server-side commands and interactions
• Multiplayer mechanics like teams, roles, and permissions

Why Some Features Might Seem Different

If a server relied on an exploit to function (such as using sign-scanning to detect mods), that specific feature may break. This is intentional—the server was using a security vulnerability. Reputable servers use proper APIs and don't depend on exploits.

Test Your Connection

When you first join a server with Exploit Preventer active:

• Download and apply resource packs normally
• Interact with signs, anvils, and blocks as usual
• Use all advertised server features

If something doesn't work, it was likely an exploit. Report it to the server owner—they should update to legitimate methods. Most well-maintained servers have no issues with Exploit Preventer installed.
