Experience Progress Mod helps you prepare for enchanting sessions by showing exactly how many levels you have available:

1. Check your current level using the mod's display

2. Decide what enchantment power you need (typically 15, 25, or 30 levels for best results)

3. Use the "XP needed to level up" number to calculate how close you are to your target

4. Continue grinding mobs, mining, or smelting until you reach your desired level

Strategic Advantage

Knowing your exact level prevents wasting time grinding beyond what you need or stopping too early. If you need level 30 for maximum enchantment power and you're at level 27 with 500 XP needed per level, you can estimate roughly how many more mobs to defeat.

This precision is especially valuable when you're carrying valuable items to an enchanting table—you can confirm you have enough levels before making the trip, reducing unnecessary travel and risk.
