Recover From Being Stuck at Your Border

If You Hit the Border Limit

Occasionally you may find yourself unable to expand further or facing a temporary plateau in XP gain. This typically happens when you've exhausted easy XP sources within your current border.

Generate More Experience

Optimize your current space. Build a mob grinder or XP farm using the resources available within your border. Mob farms are particularly effective because they provide both XP and drops.

Mine strategically. If you haven't fully explored your border area, mine ores you haven't collected yet. Each ore block grants XP.

Use furnaces efficiently. Smelt all your raw materials. Smelting grants XP and prepares you for when your border expands and you need crafting materials.

Breed animals. If you have animals within your border, breeding them grants XP and provides food and resources.

Patience Pays Off

Border expansion is designed to be gradual. If progress feels slow, focus on building infrastructure that will serve you well once your border grows. The mod encourages thoughtful early-game planning rather than rushing expansion.
