Understanding Infinity on Crossbows

Infinity is a bow enchantment that prevents arrows from being consumed when fired. With this mod, you can now apply Infinity to crossbows using the same methods as bows.

Obtaining an Infinity Book

Enchant books at an enchanting table until you receive an Infinity enchanted book, or find one in loot chests. Infinity is a rare enchantment, so you may need to enchant multiple books or use multiple enchanting tables.

Applying to Your Crossbow

Once you have an Infinity enchanted book, use an anvil to combine it with your crossbow. Place the crossbow in the left slot and the Infinity book in the right slot, then confirm the combination.

Result

Your crossbow will now fire arrows without consuming them from your inventory. You only need one arrow in your inventory to fire indefinitely. This works identically to how Infinity functions on bows, making crossbows a sustainable ranged weapon option.
