Understanding the Mending + Infinity Combination

This mod removes the vanilla restriction that prevents Mending and Infinity from existing on the same bow. With both enchantments, your bow becomes self-repairing while never consuming arrows—the ultimate endgame weapon.

Steps to Create a Mending + Infinity Bow

1. Prepare your bow with one enchantment already applied (either Mending or Infinity).

2. Obtain the second enchantment book through enchanting, fishing, or loot chests.

3. Use an anvil to combine them:

• Place your enchanted bow in the left slot.
• Place the second enchantment book in the right slot.
• Confirm the combination.

4. Collect experience orbs while using the bow to trigger Mending repairs.

Maximizing Your Bow

• Combine Mending + Infinity with Power and Looting for a complete archer setup.
• The anvil cost increases with each combination, so plan your enchantments carefully.
• Once complete, this bow requires no arrow management and self-repairs indefinitely.
