Unlock Your Companion

Your crystal companion is a personal assistant that helps with mining, farming, and combat. Activate it using the Codex or a dedicated item. The companion will follow you and assist with nearby tasks.

Gather Upgrade Materials

Collect alien matter from space probe missions—this is the primary resource for companion upgrades. You can also obtain upgrade components by processing materials through your factory automation line.

Apply Upgrades

Access the companion upgrade menu through the Codex or an upgrade station. Spend alien matter to unlock new abilities: faster mining speed, larger farming radius, improved combat damage, or expanded inventory capacity.

Upgrades are permanent and stack, so prioritize based on your playstyle. A companion focused on mining will benefit from speed and efficiency upgrades, while a combat-oriented companion needs damage and health boosts.

Manage Your Companion

Your companion consumes energy from your crystal network while active. Ensure your network is stable before relying on it for extended periods.
