Track New Mobs on Your Minimap

Finding Mobs in Caves and Biomes

Friends and Foes adds unique mobs to different environments. Without proper minimap support, tracking a Rascal hiding in a cave or spotting a Glare in shadows becomes difficult.

Enable Minimap Icons

1. Ensure Xaero's Minimap is installed alongside this resource pack

2. Load your world with both mods active

3. Open Xaero's Minimap settings (usually accessible via in-game menu)

4. Verify mob icons appear on your minimap—custom icons for Crab, Glare, Iceologer, Beekeeper, Wildfire, and Rascal should display with distinct medieval-styled symbols

5. Adjust icon size or visibility in minimap settings if needed

Using Minimap Tracking

The custom icons help you quickly identify which mobs are nearby without opening your full map. This is especially useful when hunting specific mobs for drops or avoiding dangerous ones like Wildfire. Icons match the rustic art style, so they feel native to your Excalibur world.

If icons don't appear, verify the resource pack loaded correctly and Xaero's Minimap is up to date.
