Controlling Automatic Meteor Events

The mod generates natural meteor showers based on time, moon phases, and weather. You can monitor and control these events using the event management system.

Event Commands

Use /meteorevent with these options:

• status: Check if a meteor event is currently active and view event details
• force: Immediately trigger a natural meteor shower event
• reset: Cancel the current event and reset the event timer

Understanding Natural Generation

Meteor showers occur naturally based on configurable probability settings. The base chance increases during night and is affected by moon phases and weather conditions, creating realistic astronomical patterns.

Configuration Control

You can adjust natural generation probability through JSON configuration files. Settings include base chance percentages, night bonuses, and quantity ranges for different shower sizes (small, medium, large, epic).

Practical Use

Use force to create an event on demand for testing or entertainment. Use status to check if meteors are currently falling. Use reset to stop an unwanted event and restart the natural generation timer.
