Navigate a Floor Without Getting Lost
Mark Your Path
When you enter a new floor, take a moment to observe the layout before rushing forward. If the mod allows, place blocks or use visual markers at key intersections so you can retrace your steps if you hit a dead end. This prevents wasting time backtracking through the same corridors repeatedly.
Follow a Systematic Approach
Choose a direction—left, right, or straight—and commit to it at each fork. Keep one hand on a wall (mentally or physically) and follow it consistently. This wall-following technique works well in mazes because it guarantees you'll eventually find either the exit or realize you're in a loop.
Look for Clues
Pay attention to the room design. Stairs, ladders, or openings that look different from regular corridor walls often signal the correct path forward. Some floors may have subtle visual hints—different lighting, block types, or architectural details—that point toward the next level.
Stay Patient
Each floor is designed to test your navigation skills. If you feel stuck, backtrack to the last clear intersection and try a different route. The exit is always there; finding it is the puzzle.
