Optimize Eveliteshaders Performance on Mid-Range Hardware
Reduce Volumetric Effects
Volumetric fog and light beams are the most demanding features. Access your shader settings menu (usually Shift+O or through Options > Shader Settings) and look for volumetric or fog quality sliders. Lower these values incrementally and test performance in different environments—dense forests will show the biggest impact.
Adjust Shadow Quality
Detailed shadow rendering consumes significant GPU resources. Find shadow distance and shadow resolution settings in the shader menu. Reducing shadow distance means shadows render only closer to your camera, freeing up performance. You can also lower shadow resolution from maximum to medium without losing the cinematic look entirely.
Disable or Reduce Water Effects
Realistic water reflections and movement add visual polish but cost performance. Look for water quality or reflection settings and set them to lower presets. Some players disable reflections entirely while keeping the water clarity.
Test in Chunks
Load into your world and visit different biomes—open sky, dense forest, underground. Each environment stresses the shader differently. Adjust settings based on where you spend most time playing.
