Optimize Evelite Shaders Performance on Mid-Range Hardware
Reduce Shader Load Without Losing Quality
Evelite Shaders is designed for high-end systems, but you can adjust settings to run smoothly on moderate hardware. Open your shader options menu (usually accessed via the Shader Settings button in video settings) and look for performance-related toggles.
Key Settings to Adjust
Start by disabling or lowering volumetric light shaft quality—this feature is visually impressive but computationally expensive. Reduce shadow resolution and distance; closer, lower-resolution shadows still look good without taxing your GPU as heavily.
Lower water reflection quality to medium or high instead of maximum. This preserves the realistic water appearance while cutting rendering overhead. If your frame rate still suffers, disable dynamic wave simulation or set it to a lower frequency.
Monitor and Test
After each adjustment, load into your world and observe frame rates in different biomes. Open areas with sky exposure will show the biggest performance impact from volumetric effects. Make incremental changes rather than disabling features entirely—you'll find a sweet spot where visuals remain cinematic without stuttering.
If performance remains poor, consider using a lighter shader alongside Evelite for everyday play, reserving Evelite for screenshots and exploration.
