Enhance Water Reflections and Wave Effects
Configure Water Reflection Quality
Evelite Shaders includes mirror-like water reflections that respond to weather. Access shader settings and find water-related options. Look for reflection quality, reflection distance, and wave simulation settings. Higher reflection quality renders more of the surrounding environment in water surfaces, creating more convincing mirrors.
Adjust Wave Behavior
Wave simulation makes water surfaces move and ripple. In calm weather, waves are gentle; during storms, they become more turbulent. You can control wave height and frequency through shader settings. Increase these values for more dramatic water movement, or reduce them for calmer, clearer reflections.
Optimize for Your Scene
Large bodies of water benefit most from high reflection settings—oceans and lakes will look photorealistic. Smaller water features like rivers may not need maximum reflection quality. Disable or lower wave simulation in small pools or decorative water features where movement looks unnatural.
Test Different Conditions
Load near water and observe reflections during clear weather and rain. Use /weather clear or /weather rain to test how reflections and waves change. Adjust settings until water feels alive and responsive without becoming distracting or performance-intensive. Position yourself at different angles to see how reflections shift realistically.
