Optimize Performance While Keeping Visual Quality

Find Performance Options

Open the shader settings menu and locate the performance or quality tier options. Ethereal Shaders includes multiple preset levels designed to balance looks and frame rate.

Choose Your Quality Tier

Select a preset that matches your hardware:

• High/Ultra: Best visuals, requires stronger GPU
• Medium: Balanced quality and performance for most systems
• Low/Fast: Maintains the shader's style while reducing effects like shadow detail or reflection complexity

Disable Specific Effects

Within settings, you can often toggle individual features:

• Ambient occlusion (darkening in crevices)
• Reflections on water and wet blocks
• Advanced shadow calculations
• Particle enhancements

Disabling one or two effects often recovers significant frame rate without losing the shader's fantasy-realistic aesthetic. Monitor your FPS counter and adjust until you find your comfort zone.
