How to Find and Loot a Bastion Remnant

Locating a Bastion

Bastion Remnants are massive fortress structures that generate throughout the Nether. They're easier to spot in Crimson Forests and other open biomes. Look for large dark stone structures with multiple levels and towers. You can adjust their spawn frequency in the mod configuration if you want them more or less common.

Preparing for Combat

Bastions are heavily defended by Piglin Brutes and regular Piglins. Bring strong armor and weapons—diamond or better is recommended. Piglin Brutes are particularly dangerous and won't be distracted by gold. Consider bringing healing potions and food.

Looting Safely

Clear mobs room by room rather than rushing in. Piglin Brutes guard treasure chests, so eliminate them first. Once the area is secure, open chests to collect loot. Be aware that regular Piglins will become hostile if you open chests near them without wearing gold armor, so either clear them out or equip gold gear before looting.

Escaping

Mark your path back to your base with torches or blocks. Bastions are maze-like and easy to get lost in, especially when retreating under pressure.
