Sending a Direct Message

Use /msg [playername] [message] or /tell [playername] [message] to send a private message to another online player. The message appears only to them and you—it won't show in public chat. Replace [playername] with the exact username of the player you want to reach.

Replying to Messages

When someone sends you a private message, you'll see it in your chat. Reply quickly with /reply [message] or /r [message] without needing to type their full name again.

Discord Integration

If your server bridges Minecraft chat with Discord, you can also send private messages to players through Discord while they're offline. This keeps your conversations going even when players aren't in-game. Check with your server admin to see if this feature is enabled.
