Track Your Exact Location and Navigate Efficiently

View Your Coordinates

Enable the Player Position section in your F12 HUD settings. Your Player Coordinates display your exact X, Y, and Z position in the world, updated in real-time.

Use Coordinates for Navigation

Write down important locations (your base, structures, resource areas) and their coordinates. You can navigate back by moving toward those numbers. This is far more reliable than trying to remember landmarks.

Track Nether Coordinates

When exploring The Nether, the Dimensional Coordinates feature shows your equivalent Overworld position. This helps you correlate Nether tunnels with surface locations—useful for planning bases or finding your way back.

Understand Chunk Positioning

The Stand-Block Chunk display shows your position within your current chunk (a 16×16 block area). This is helpful when chunk-aligning builds or understanding chunk borders.

Plan Long Journeys

Before traveling far, note your starting coordinates and your destination. Check your position periodically to ensure you're heading the right direction. This prevents getting lost in large worlds.
