Monitor Your Game Performance in Real-Time

Enable Performance Metrics

Open the F12 options menu and ensure the Client Performance section is toggled on. This displays live data about your game's performance.

Read Your FPS Counter

The Client FPS display shows your current frames per second. Higher numbers mean smoother gameplay. If your FPS drops significantly, it may indicate performance issues.

Check CPU and Memory Usage

Client CPU Load shows how much processing power Minecraft is using on your system. Client Memory displays the RAM currently allocated to the game. If memory usage climbs too high, consider closing other applications or adjusting your render distance.

Monitor Network Health (Multiplayer)

On multiplayer servers, Client Latency shows your ping in milliseconds. Lower latency means more responsive gameplay. Network Packets tracks data sent and received—useful for diagnosing connection issues.

Troubleshoot Performance

Use these metrics to identify bottlenecks. High CPU load with low FPS suggests a processing issue, while high memory usage might require optimization of your world or mods.
