Progress Through the Basement Systematically
Map Your Progress
Keep track of which areas you've explored and which doors remain locked. This prevents backtracking and helps you identify which puzzles still need solving. Note which items you've collected and where you found them—this information helps solve later puzzles that reference earlier discoveries.
Unlock Areas in Sequence
The basement is designed to open progressively. Each solved puzzle or collected item typically unlocks access to the next section. Don't force your way through—if a door won't open, you're missing a required item or haven't solved its puzzle yet. Return to previous areas and search more carefully.
Work Toward the Final Exit
As you progress deeper, the puzzles become more complex and require items from multiple areas. Keep moving forward, collecting everything useful, and solving each puzzle you encounter. The final exit becomes accessible only after you've gathered sufficient items and solved the major puzzles blocking your path. Stay focused on exploration and puzzle-solving—the exit will reveal itself.
