Mine Efficiently at Night Without Torches

Set up your mining session

Activate Fullbright by pressing B before you head out into the night. You'll have perfect visibility without placing a single torch, which saves you resources and inventory space.

Benefits for nighttime mining

With Fullbright enabled, you can see ore veins, mobs, and terrain features just as clearly as during the day. This means faster mining, better ore detection, and easier navigation. You won't waste time placing torches or dealing with shadows that hide valuable resources.

Stay safe from mobs

Because you can see everything clearly, you'll spot hostile mobs before they get close. This gives you time to react, build defenses, or retreat to safety. The visibility advantage helps you avoid surprise attacks in dark areas.

Combine with your normal tools

Use Fullbright alongside your regular mining strategy. Bring your pickaxe, find good ore deposits, and extract them efficiently. The mod simply removes the darkness—everything else about mining works normally. You can still use torches for marking paths if you want, but they're completely optional.
