Set Up the Resource Pack with Required Mods

Prerequisites

Equine Idols requires mod support to function. You need Entity Model Features and Entity Texture Features installed alongside this resource pack. These mods enable custom character models and textures to display on horses.

Installation Steps

1. Ensure Entity Model Features and Entity Texture Features are installed in your mods folder

2. Place the Equine Idols Resource Pack in your resourcepacks folder

3. Launch Minecraft and open World Options or Resource Packs menu

4. Locate Equine Idols in the Available list

5. Click the arrow to move it to Active packs

6. Position it above any conflicting horse texture packs

7. Apply changes and reload your world

Troubleshooting

If horses still appear vanilla, verify both Entity Model Features and Entity Texture Features are enabled in your mods list. The resource pack alone cannot function without these mods. Check that your Minecraft version matches the pack's compatibility. If models appear broken or textures don't load, try moving the resource pack higher in the active list priority.
