Maintain Horse Gameplay While Using the Resource Pack

Standard Mechanics Remain Unchanged

Equine Idols preserves all vanilla horse functionality. Movement speed, jumping ability, breeding, and taming work identically to standard Minecraft horses. The resource pack only changes visual appearance—no gameplay balance is altered.

Breeding and Taming

1. Tame wild horses using the standard method: right-click repeatedly until hearts appear

2. Feed tamed horses golden apples or golden carrots to enter breeding mode

3. Bring two tamed horses together to produce offspring

4. Baby horses grow at normal rates and inherit coat traits from parents

5. Saddle and equip horses as you normally would

Performance and Compatibility

The anime character models may have slightly different visual hitboxes compared to vanilla horses, but collision and riding mechanics function normally. Armor, saddles, and name tags display on the character models without issues. If you experience performance drops, ensure Entity Model Features and Entity Texture Features are optimized for your system. The resource pack works alongside other mods that don't conflict with entity rendering.
