How to Deflect Projectiles with Clash Blade
Deflecting Arrows and Projectiles
Clash Blade extends beyond melee—you can deflect incoming projectiles during your attack animations. This works with arrows, tridents, and other ranged attacks.
Steps to Deflect
1. Initiate a melee attack — Begin any sword combo or heavy attack animation
2. Position yourself between the projectile and its source — Face the direction the projectile is coming from
3. Time your swing — The projectile must connect with you while your attack animation is active
4. Automatic deflection — If timed correctly, the projectile is canceled and knockback is applied
Tips for Success
- Faster attacks are easier — Quick jabs give you more opportunities to catch projectiles than slow, heavy swings
- Anticipate incoming fire — Watch for archer mobs or players drawing bows and start your attack early
- Range matters — You must be close enough for the projectile to hit you during your active frames
- Mob behavior — EpicFight mobs with ranged attacks will trigger deflection if you swing at the right moment
Projectile deflection is particularly useful in group combat or when facing multiple ranged enemies.
