How to Configure Which Mobs Can Use Clash Blade

Accessing the Configuration File

The mod includes a configuration file that controls which entities can perform clash actions. This allows you to customize your combat experience by blacklisting specific mobs or entities.

Blacklisting Entities

1. Locate the config folder — Navigate to your Minecraft instance's config directory

2. Find the Clash Blade config file — Look for the mod's configuration file (typically named after the mod)

3. Open the file — Edit it with a text editor

4. Add entity IDs to the blacklist — Enter the registry names of mobs you want to prevent from clashing

5. Save and reload — Restart your game or reload the world for changes to take effect

What Gets Blacklisted

When an entity is blacklisted:

  • It cannot initiate clash actions
  • It won't intercept your attacks
  • It can still be clashed against by you
  • Damage and knockback mechanics remain normal

Common Use Cases

  • Disable clashing for boss mobs to maintain difficulty
  • Prevent certain peaceful mobs from clashing
  • Balance PvP by restricting specific mob types

Check your config file's comments for the exact syntax and entity ID format required.
