Troubleshoot Mode Switching Not Working

Check Your Configuration

If automatic mode switching isn't happening when you expect it:

1. Verify that enableAutoSwitch is set to true in your config file

2. Confirm that Epic Fight mod itself is installed and working

3. Test by holding a recognized weapon—you should enter combat mode automatically

4. If nothing happens, check that your weapon is actually registered in Epic Fight's weapon list

Verify Mod Load Order

Epic Tweaks depends on Epic Fight to function. Make sure Epic Fight loads before Epic Tweaks in your mod list. If you're using a mod manager, it should handle this automatically.

Reset to Defaults

If you've made many configuration changes and things aren't working, try deleting your config file and letting the mod regenerate it with default settings. This often fixes unexpected behavior caused by conflicting or corrupted settings.
