Keep Combat Mode Active While Building

Override Mode Restrictions

By default, Epic Tweaks prevents you from staying in combat mode while holding tools. If you want to maintain combat animations while building, you'll need to adjust the configuration.

1. Open the Epic Tweaks config file

2. Find the option that prevents tool-holding in combat mode (something like blockToolsInCombat or enforceToolMode)

3. Set it to false

4. Restart your game

Considerations

Keep in mind that combat mode animations are designed for fighting, not building. Your mining and placement speeds won't change, but your character's animations will look different. This setting is useful if you want consistent visuals during hybrid combat-and-construction scenarios, but it may feel awkward for pure building work.

You can toggle this setting on and off as needed without restarting.
