Customize Which Items Trigger Combat Mode

Configure Weapon Recognition

Epic Tweaks identifies weapons based on the Epic Fight mod's weapon registry. You can customize which items are recognized as weapons.

1. Open the Epic Tweaks configuration file

2. Look for a section like weaponList or combatItems

3. Add or remove item IDs to control what triggers combat mode

4. Save and reload your game

Adding Custom Weapons

If you're using modded weapons that aren't automatically recognized, you may need to manually add them to the configuration. Check if your mod has an Epic Fight compatibility patch, or add the item ID directly to the weapon list in the config file.

Tools like pickaxes, shovels, and axes will keep you in normal mode by default, even if they can deal damage. Only items registered as weapons in Epic Fight will trigger combat stance.
