Harvest Resources from Epic Village Buildings
Gathering Materials Safely
Epic Villages are built entirely from vanilla Minecraft blocks, making them excellent sources of building materials. However, these are inhabited settlements—approach harvesting thoughtfully to avoid disrupting the village.
What You Can Collect
Buildings contain standard blocks like wood, stone, bricks, and roofing materials. Disassemble abandoned or damaged structures first, or harvest from the outer edges of buildings where it won't affect the village's integrity.
Best Practices
- Target specific buildings: Focus on structures at the village's edge rather than central landmarks.
- Use tools efficiently: Bring appropriate tools (axe for wood, pickaxe for stone) to speed up collection.
- Respect the layout: Leave main streets and central plazas intact to preserve the village's medieval atmosphere.
- Check for NPCs: Avoid harvesting from buildings where villagers actively work or live.
Compatibility Note
If you have mods that add guards or defenders to villages, be aware that excessive harvesting may trigger hostile responses. Gather resources thoughtfully and consider whether the village serves other purposes in your playthrough, such as trading or fast-travel waypoints.
