Finding Your First Jungle Temple

Prepare for Exploration

Jungle temples in this mod are large structures scattered throughout jungle biomes, but they won't spawn right next to your spawn point. You'll need to travel into unexplored jungle terrain to locate them.

Bring essential supplies: a diamond or iron pickaxe (for mining through stone and hardened blocks), a sword for combat, food, and torches. Wear armor appropriate to your progression level.

Search Strategy

Head into a jungle biome and climb to high ground—a tall tree or hill gives you visibility across the landscape. Look for distinctive architectural shapes that break the natural jungle canopy: stepped pyramids, large stone platforms, or geometric structures that don't match natural terrain.

Temples vary in size. Massive structures are rarer but more rewarding. Smaller ruins are easier to find and still contain valuable loot. Move systematically through the jungle rather than randomly wandering.

Entering Safely

Once you spot a temple, approach cautiously. These structures often have narrow passages, dark interiors, and may contain hostile mobs. Light your way with torches and clear mobs as you advance. The interior layout varies by structure size, so explore methodically and mark your path back to safety.
