How to Keep the "Joining World..." Screen Instead of Skipping It

Why You Might Want It Back

Skipping the world loading screen can cause a brief position desync between your client and the server, especially on Vanilla. Some players prefer the semi-transparent "Joining World..." screen because it gives the client time to sync before you start moving.

Restoring the Screen

1. Open the mod's config file or in-game config screen.

2. Look for the option that controls the world joining screen behavior.

3. Switch it from the "skip/disable" setting to the setting that keeps the joining screen visible.

4. Save and reload your game so the change takes effect.

What to Expect After the Change

You will see the "Joining World..." screen again when switching worlds or servers. The resource pack loading screen will still be shortened, since that is a separate behavior. If you want the pack screen back to normal as well, look for a separate toggle for the resource pack screen and turn it off. Leaving the joining screen enabled is the safer choice on Vanilla servers where position sync matters.
