Understanding Greataxe Styles

The Greataxe in this mod supports two distinct combat styles, each with unique movesets, attack speed, and innate skills. You can switch between them to adapt to different combat situations.

One-Handed Style Combat

One-Handed Style emphasizes powerful, deliberate strikes with room for mobility:

• Execute three basic swings with good reach and knockback
• Use dash attacks to close gaps or reposition
• Perform air slashes by attacking while airborne
• Activate the Comet innate skill to slam down from mid-air, dealing heavy damage to enemies below

This style works well against single tough enemies or when you need breathing room.

Dual-Wield Style Combat

Dual-Wield Style trades raw power for speed and crowd control:

• Chain fast successive attacks for rapid damage output
• Cover more area with dual swings
• Use the Annihilate innate skill to leap upward and strike with critical damage
• Annihilate is especially effective against grouped enemies or for burst damage

Switching Styles

Switch between styles based on enemy type: use One-Handed for bosses or armored mobs, and Dual-Wield for groups or when you need sustained damage output.
