Reduce Screen Blur at Edges for Better Peripheral Vision

Enter Shader Settings

Access Video Settings > Shaders > Shader Options while playing to open the shader configuration menu.

Locate Vignette or Edge Blur Controls

Find settings labeled "Vignette," "Edge Blur," "Peripheral Blur," or "Focus Blur." This effect darkens and blurs the edges of your screen to direct attention toward the center.

Disable or Reduce the Effect

If you want maximum peripheral vision, disable the vignette entirely using its toggle. If you prefer to keep some edge darkening but reduce blur, look for separate sliders controlling:

  • Vignette strength — how dark the edges become
  • Blur radius — how much blur is applied to peripheral areas

Lower both values to see more clearly at the edges of your screen.

Test in-Game

Move around your world and notice how much of your surroundings you can now see without turning your camera. This is especially useful in combat or when exploring.

Fine-Tune as Needed

Return to settings and adjust until you find a balance between focus and awareness that suits your playstyle. Save your configuration.
