Adjust Glow Intensity in Dark Caves
Access Shader Settings
Open your shader options menu while in-game. This is typically found in Video Settings > Shaders > Shader Options, though the exact path depends on your shader loader.
Find Glow and Outline Controls
Look for settings related to "Glow Outlines," "Edge Detection," or "Ambient Glow." Enhanced Vision Shaders usually groups these together. You may see separate sliders for:
- Outline brightness — controls how bright the glowing edges appear
- Outline thickness — adjusts the width of the glow effect
- Minimum light level — determines when outlines activate (lower values = glow in brighter areas too)
Test Your Changes
Head underground to a dark cave and adjust sliders in real-time. Watch how block edges respond as you modify values. If outlines feel too harsh, reduce brightness. If they're too subtle, increase it.
Save and Apply
Once satisfied, confirm your changes. Settings typically save automatically, but check for a "Save" or "Apply" button to be sure. Return to your cave to verify the new appearance matches your preference.
