How to Install and Enable the Enhanced Audio Resource Pack
Placing the Pack in the Correct Folder
A resource pack only works if Minecraft can find it. Open your Minecraft installation folder and locate the resourcepacks directory. Move the Enhanced Audio Resource Pack file (the .zip or extracted folder) directly into that directory. Do not nest it inside another folder, or the game will not detect it. If you are using a launcher with multiple instances or profiles, make sure you are placing it in the folder tied to the profile you actually play on.
Activating It In-Game
Launch Minecraft and go to Options, then Resource Packs. The pack should appear in the left-hand column under "Available." Click the arrow to move it to the "Selected" column on the right. Because this pack only changes audio, it can safely sit above or below other packs without causing visual conflicts. Click Done to apply it.
Confirming It Is Working
Enter a world and trigger a common sound, such as breaking a block, opening a chest, or walking on grass. The new audio should sound noticeably richer than vanilla. If you still hear default sounds, double-check that the pack is in the Selected column and that no other resource pack is overriding the same sound files by sitting above it in the load order.
